Live App Lets You View Celebrations Worldwide

Many of you are using various applications on your mobile gadgets today. Depending on your needs, there are numerous apps available these days that make life so much easier and convenient. But for the New Year’s eve celebrations, a new app has been developed that will let you see what’s happening around the world. How cool is that! It is a live app for the iPhone and iPod touch and for the iPad.

Called EarthCam’s New Year’s Live, the app has webcams in different locations such as in New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Abbey Road Crossing in the U.K. and Prague among many others. Its other great features are the virtual photo booth, party box with eight special sound effects, party favors and archives.

Apart from this live app, there are interesting new year’s applications worth trying out. For those serious about making and sticking to their new year’s resolutions particularly regarding health and finances, there are apps that can help you achieve your goals.

MySpace is Back with a Vengeance

Active social media users and entrepreneurs wanting to expand their online presence have a new place to go to. It’s the newly improved MySpace.

The long wait is over as the social network has been reborn with a new design and is now accepting new users by invitation. Initially, the new users are those who registered for a pre-launch invite. Also, it has a new url which is new.myspace.com.

Being a social site, members can definitely share status updates and photos. The photos are displayed in large size and comments are included below them.

According to site owners Tim and Chris Vanderhook, the new MySpace is not just a refurbished version as it was actually built from scratch. Its major attractions, they said, are the design and the music discovery element.
