[...] David Peralty of Extra For Every Publisher thought this was a great gimmick that other businesses should bring to blog conferences: Over in the corner of the exhibits there was a concrete mixer, and two guys with very bold green shirts. They were there promoting their business outside of its normal niche, and in doing so, became one of the highlights of the event for me. It made me wonder if other businesses will begin to catch on that Blog World Expo could be an amazing opportunity for businesses that don’t normally interact with bloggers to find a whole new group of potential customers and if nothing else, be noticed by a crowd that is well connected online.
I just listed those that gave me a business card, and talked more about certain people that I had something extra to say something about. Didn't purposely leave you out. :$ It was great to meet you too!

So because we work together, you don't include me on your list? Huh? Hugh? Doesn't WordPress, Woopra, and Layered Tech get any attention or love? :D

Great list and some very awesome people there. It was so great to finally meet you. Wish we had more time to chat!

Thanks for the plug, David. It was a great show and a real eye-opener for us. We met some great folks, learned lots about blogging and the new media. I even started a personal blog for the heck of it (http://ttoes.wordpress.com).

so far our experiment has netted us about triple the traffic we had before the show. We will continue to measure and see if any of the great posts (like yours) help us generate more business.

Thanks again,
