Hey David - I've just listened to four episodes of your podcasts (two of Wordpress in Review and two of XFEP Tips).

Nicely done and keep it up! Might I suggest a Tip episode on migrating to Wordpress from other software?

Perhaps something for the absolute WP novices out there?

I agree with you that it is nice to have an indicator, but the same bubble image as the comments status is just wrong... maybe a small blue * next to the Plugins text? I dunno... The bubble is going to quickly be over used and I also wish I could easily disable it as I don't ALWAYS keep my plugins up to date.

I disagree on your stance with the plugin bubble. I like it. It gives me at a glance information which lets me know that at least 1 plugin or more is in need up an upgrade. It's better than actually browsing to the plugins page, scrolling down and seeing if there are new upgrades.

I don't want to see the bubble icon placed everywhere in the backend. But I do enjoy it's use of conveying information of a certain area of the backend without actually browsing to that page.

Thank you for the plug on the last show and yes, I hope you'll be able to be a regular co-host for the show. Should be an interesting time period in podcasting heh.
