there is also the advantage of linking them as such that people who WANT to support you can do it I reckon.

I’ll have to rethink this at some point again so don’t hold it against me in the meantime.

While I agree that many people won’t know what (aff) means, I do think that some form of marking is considerate to your readers and that you should be marking your affiliate links in some way.

Maybe the world needs a small icon that could be placed next to affiliate links that could become a symbol for them, much the same way external links on wikis have a symbol next to them.

Thanks for the compliment, for listening and for creating your top 100 list. Without it, finding my content would be much more difficult.

I don’t mark my affiliate links. I think if anything it clutters the content, insults the reader that does know what an affiliate link is, and 99% of the world doesn’t know what (aff) even means:

You will read a blog with dozens of paid posts (JC) but not one that doesn’t mark an affiliate link?
