I said it is a &quot;good metric&quot; for measuring how much you could be making.  On top of that the only monetization methods you mentioned were direct advertising.  A good blog will be making money from ppc advertising, affiliate programs, and many other methods... not just direct advertising.  It&#039;s a simple formula to gauge performance... not the cure for cancer.

The above will never happen.  You can&#039;t explain to an advertiser that your traffic is more focused than someone elses.  There is simply no way to measure this.  The advertiser will always go with the &quot;biggest bang for the buck&quot; idea.  A blog with 40 readers a day will never compete with a blog that has 1500 or more.  It simply isn&#039;t in the cards.</description>
