It would have been nice to have figured it out sooner, but the live support channels were wonderful at helping me diagnose what the problem could be, and I had the issue on both my Vista machine and OS X Leopard laptop. The audio problems at the low sampling rates seems to be primarily a Mac issue (at least PC people haven't yet reported this particular problem) but it isnt limited to Mac's to have rpoblems, some of the latest Dells for example if you have a momentary disconnection of your external audio feed it auto reverts to the internal mic, especially troublesome if you arent aware of it and the internal mic volume is muted or down!! Along that vein the tricks, tips and techniques in using Ustream will solve every one of your problems so feel free to contact us in the manner that best suits you or your veiwers.
