I think focus is still the key and whatever motivates you to write just do it whether it be the scent of apples or something else. However, you might just be underestimating importance of priorities & focus in life to succeed. That drive to succeed can't be experienced in all things you do. If anyone can focus in spite of day job, it's great. But there are more failures around is due to lack of drive only. What do you think?
