Around two weeks ago I had 183 RSS feed readers according to Feedburner, and I am proud to say that I have finally hit another milestone on this blog, and have over 200 RSS feed readers according to Feedburner. I want to take a quick second to thank everyone that has subscribed. I plan on putting up some amazing articles before this month is out, and I hope you will stick with me.

For all of you that have not subscribed yet, click on the big orange RSS logo over to the right, and get subscribed. If you don’t know what RSS is, or how to subscribe, I recommend filling out your e-mail in the form at the bottom of the right hand sidebar, and clicking subscribe. So another month has passed, and I am sure you are all curious how I did. Well, to sum it up, I didn’t do as well as I was hoping, but I know the factors that slowed me down.

Some things that distracted me from this site include changing companies, jobs, and going to a conference. Other than that, the launch of AltSciFi took some time and energy as well. Lastly, I tried experimenting with live video streaming. All of these took time away from generating content here, but hopefully December will go better.

Here is hoping for another great month. I hope to publish around 40 posts over the course of December, and increase my Alexa and Technorati rank. I have decided though that running after these ranks aren’t as important to me as they once were, and I will be working on bringing some more teaching articles to the table, as well as some great pillar articles that I hope you can all reference often.

To all my readers, a huge thank you from me, and I hope you keep checking back with me. Without you, this site would just be a little spot I rant in, rather than a great location on the web with an amazing group of people.

Around the end of October, I decided that I wanted to try to make a big push to get into a top fifty spot on the 45n5.com Top 100 list, and as of today, I am now number 49.

This means I have moved up another eight positions since two weeks ago, something I thought was going to take all month, due to the amazing sites above me. This says so much about the great readers here at Xfep, and all the friends I have made. Kudos to you all.

I guess I have to stop underestimating you all, and makes some really challenging goals.
