Xfep Podcast: Episode 0

Welcome to the inaugural episode of the Xfep Podcast. I have titled this first episode, Episode 0 because it is a little rough around the edges and is much a proof of concept for me as a first episode.

The Xfep Podcast will cover just a few of the stories that interested me from the top 50 making money online blogs as listed by 45n5’s top 100 list.

If I have mispronounced you name wrong, I am incredibly sorry. I am pretty sure I pronounced Darren’s last name wrong, and when I reference him in the future, I will attempt to say it correctly.

I am working on the “um’s” problem that I currently have. I have experience in Podcasting, and you would think that I should have that problem licked by now, but unfortunately it still plagues me.

Awesome post. It wasn’t that bad around the edges, and I definitely think that you’ve found a great niche to become the leader in. Good luck and can’t wait to hear the next one!

Good job on your first podcast. I followed the link over from the 45n5 site.

I just started my first podcast, too, so I can sympathize with the “ums” (though I really didn’t notice them). With me, it’s “you know.” Those darned you knows are in the middle of sentences too so they’re impossible to cut out, hehe.

Anyway, I think this is a nice idea for a podcast. You’ve covered a lot of interesting stories. I always feel I should be working on my own stuff instead of reading blogs, but podcasts I can download and listen to while walking the dog, so it’s a medium I’m more likely to follow.

I actually podcasted (that’s a word, right?) all about the one site vs. multiple sites in my last show. Just in case you don’t want to listen to the whole 20-some minutes to get my opinion, I say do a mix. Create that big authority site, but also do some of the little ones that don’t require daily or even monthly maintenance but that will still bring in money.

    Looking forward to more!

P.S. My name is super easy to pronounce if you ever want to talk about my show. 😛
