Xfep Podcast: Episode 13

Overview

Unlucky number thirteen today, as I knock over my mic, have issues with my laptop, get a phone call mid-stride, and many other wonderful things which continued to make my sleep deprived life, oh so fun.

Today I talk about conferences and events. I am really excited to network and meet new people, but I also want some good content, so what should I be attending?

The number of posts per day on here will go up again hopefully tomorrow, but today was all about getting Splashpress work done with the little energy I did have.

Puppy Kills Podcast

The title is only true for today. I was hoping to put up a new episode of the Xfep Podcast today, but we just got a new puppy. She is a black lab/husky mix and is only six weeks old. She is very afraid of everything, and as such, she is very dependent on me right now. It’s cute, but a bit tiring. I will be putting up a new episode on Monday, but hopefully I will have a chance to write up some new great content during the weekend, so keep checking back.

Thank you to all those that are checking out the podcast. I would love it if you would all leave some feedback on the length, quality, and content.

More of Me Podcasting: The FourFourNiner Pilot

Chris Garrett and I came together to record the pilot of The FourFourNiner podcast. He’s a great designer, and I am a full time blogger, and together we answer questions related to design, coding, blogging, and making money online.

In this pilot episode we talked about applying for a blog job, our favourite CSS learning resources, connecting with your clients, and moving away from WordPress.com to your own WordPress.org blog.

It is around half an hour long, and we mention many great sites which Chris has linked to on the show notes for the show.

If you have a question for Chris and I, feel free to leave a comment or contact him on The449. Let me know what you thought of the episode. We had a lot of fun recording it.

Sidenote: Chris is going to get a better mic for the shows.
